16 Jnana Siddha Yoginis Yoga Nidra
In this Feminine Empowered Yoga Nidra we invite the 16 Jnana Siddha Yoginis into our sphere of meditation. These Yoginis are from the Shaiva Tantra Tradition of Northern India where they were a popular practice over a 1000 years ago in the Swat Valley, high in their Himalayan Mountains of Kashmir. The Yoginis are messengers of a transitional primal power, the goddess, fierce compassion for change and upliftment and actually beyond the grasp of the conceptual mind. They are related to the elements and all the guises of our being.
The Jnana Siddha Yoginis Practice help us recognize our own energies to push us through our blockages, samsara's, patterns, or issues. They are a source of our ability to love ourselves more deeply and feel the preciousness of our lives.

White Soothing Tara Sadhana Practice
White Soothing Tara is the 2nd Emanation in the Empowered Feminine 21 Tara Mandala Practices of Vrajayana Buddhism
White Soothing Tara is one of the 21 Taras and known as the second emanation of Tara, or female emanations of enlightenment in Tibetan Buddhism.
Her name Drolma Loter Yangchenma represents her innate capacity for giving knowledge through song, melody, or words. In sanskrit she is known as Saraswati and Vrajasaraswati.
In addition the white color of Great White Soothing Tara has the power to calm profound disturbances such as illnesses and negative imprints. These are long-standing or deeply ingrained patterns that can be difficult to overcome and she employs her pacifying and soothings effects on these circumstances. Tara's peaceful expression reflects her ability to dissipate negativity and penetrate the innermost parts of the heart.
Recorded in Gloucester, MA in my home studio on Jan 26, 2023 this recording is an explanation of her practice, the inner meanings of her visualization, offerings, praise/invocations, prayers, mantras, meditation and dedications. Why you might practice her sadhana such as breaking out of old patterns and transformative energy of Great White Soothing Tara. This one includes her practice with short mantra repetition practice.

Tattva Bhavana Yoga Nidra Meditation
Recorded live at Blue Hot Yoga www.bluehotyoga.com after a classic hot Hatha Yoga Practice by instructor Melissa Abbott www.melissaabbott.com on Jan 4, 2022 accompanied by Crystal Singing Bowls.
In the Yogic Tradition of Shaiva Tantra Meditation Techniques, Tattva Bhavana is a beautiful relaxing practice which accesses the non dual state.
Bhavana means feeling, Tattva means feeling into what is…. In essence, you are tuning into your consciousness awareness by softening your senses and opening up to your entire field of awareness. Be willing to see things with equanimity.
This is an early Meditation Technique that is just as fresh and new as it was 1000 years ago in northern India and Kashmir regions.
Enjoy in a quiet place, Melissa

The Winter Solstice is a time of Spirit and winter rest, take some time to go within and find your peace in a quiet place.
Winter Solstice is the three days when the sun 'stands still' and nature seems to hold its breath while we enjoy our winter feast.*
Just as the sun pauses during this season, take some time to pause yourself allowing radiant rejuvenation and integration. Listening on head phones is so great. Enjoy!
